Geoportal.lt 2.2.53

Geoportal.lt is a state information system that provides users with the opportunity to access state geographic data online free of charge. The most visited section of geoportal.lt is the map browser, where users can now utilize the mobile version by downloading this application, designed for the "Android" operating system.

The mobile application will facilitate the review of geoportal.lt data in field conditions, allowing users to collect spatial data in real-time and real locations, which proves helpful in route planning and travels. The latest geoportal.lt maps (vector and orthophoto) serve as the foundation for the map within the application.

With the geoportal.lt mobile application, users can:

• Choose different map backgrounds;
• Utilize data review services provided by geoportal.lt (publicly and individually ordered on the geoportal.lt website);
• Manage layers of uploaded review services: adjust transparency, territorial coverage, view legend, identify specific elements;
• Find their current location on the map;
• Import SHP files;
• Export and import personal objects in CSV format;
• Search for locations based on entered place names;
• Look up routes from point A to point B, receive information about route distance and duration, and navigate following the planned route;
• Mark and save important locations on the map (e.g., planned places to visit);
• Conduct length and area measurements;
• Share the map with your marked location with friends or colleagues;
• Report errors noticed or suggest improvements.

The mobile application requires an internet connection to function.
